The average daily usage is 2 hours and 29 minutes (per a survey done in July 2022).
Social media usage is one of the most popular online activities.
In 2021, over 4.26 billion people were using social media worldwide, a number projected to increase to almost six billion in 2027.
Let’s use this audience, and the time they spend online into something useful.

The human attention span ranges from about 2 seconds to over 20 minutes.
This is both a good enough as well a short time to catch somebody’s attention. Therefore, one needs to plan creative, collaborative and engaging content while maintaining a scientific temper.
This course will teach us how to utilize social media to communicate science and how our content can be modified to fit into different social media platforms.
